This information was researched by Jewish business author Steven Silbiger and is reproduced in his The Phenonomen of
the Jews
, Longstreet Press, 2000, p. 88-92. The list below excludes 15 people Silbiger discovered who did not want to be identified as Jews.[p. 88] As 2.5% of the American population, Silbiger notes that 23% of the full list of 400 people on the Forbes "Rich List" are Jewish, as are 36% of the top 50.
